Arts Council England Informal Artists' Advice Session in Barrow

Join Arts Council England relationship managers for an informal artists' advice session at Coffee D'Ash in Barrow. We want to help you develop your practice, build new projects and understand how we can continue to support and develop creativity and culture in Barrow. We welcome all levels of artists, creative practitioners, small organisations and charities, based in Barrow and the wider Furness region. You can choose from two times slots 1-2.30pm or 3-4.30pm. Each slot will be an informal style group chat in the café, to share knowledge and ideas, ask any questions and meet other artists. Accesibility We’re committed to making our events accessible. When you register for this event, please let us know any specific access requirements you have. This enables us to make adjustments and put support in place. What to expect during the session Each session will last 90 minutes and will take place in a small group, led by an Arts Council Relationship Manager in an informal and supportive way. The sessions will give you time to ask questions about your own practice and project ideas, while also learning from and supporting other participants. We hope the group will provide a space for sharing ideas, building confidence and encouraging one another. We want everyone to feel comfortable asking questions and taking part, so we aim to create an open, welcoming and inclusive environment.
