Taking place on Wednesday 30 September 2026, this friendly and inclusive mass walk and wheel will bring together residents, families, local community groups and supporters to experience the new route and celebrate investment in safer, more accessible walking across the town. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a landmark moment for active travel in Barrow. The celebration walk and wheel will showcase the new infrastructure, promote active travel, and demonstrate the growing support for safe and sustainable transport within our community.
