Odie's Pottery: Casual Clay Sessions in Blackpool

What will I do? Handbuilding techniques allow you to use your hands to create forms with clay. You'll be able to learn or improve your hand-building techniques, like pinching, slab rolling/building and coiling. We will show you these techniques and guide you through the whole process. You'll be able to to make your own bowls, plates, vases, decorations and much more. You can also leave your clay piece with us for drying and firing in the kiln. This can take up to 3 weeks. Then you can collect your piece and take it home. Beginners are warmly welcomed. This can be accessed by lift or up a single flight of 14 steps (then you go around the corner and there are two small steps). • We can provide level access - please let us know if you need a ramp at the front door (4 inch step) • There is an accessible toilet on the first floor, adjacent to the workshop space.
