Singing for Creative Health

Join us for a fun sing-along that boosts your creativity and lifts your mood in a chill, friendly vibe. Connect Community Choir will sing songs about love, loss, memory, and the resilience that music makes possible. Choir members will also share what particular songs mean to them in loss and the power of singing together through life’s biggest challenges. Choir director Jayne Kelly will talk about the choir’s origins and the growing evidence that singing as a group is genuinely good for us – physically and emotionally. This event is a celebration of how choirs can bring us together. Anyone who wants to listen or join in is warmly welcome. No experience, no audition, no wrong notes! Songbooks are provided and there’s no pressure to sing or contribute any more than you’d like to.
