Material Shift: Designing Tomorrow - The Evolution of Building Materials

Join us for a reflective discussion on the innovative use of materials has progressed over the last five years What has really changed in construction materials over the last five years, and which innovations are now making a tangible difference on projects? From low carbon concrete and engineered timber to material reuse, circular design and advances in façade technology, this session explores the materials and ideas that are reshaping the built environment. Through real project examples and honest discussion, we’ll separate genuine progress from passing trends, examining what is proving scalable, practical and viable.Bringing together leading voices from across the industry, we’ll explore how changing material choices are influencing design, carbon reduction, buildability and whole life performance. Whether you’re a client, designer, contractor or consultant, you’ll leave with fresh insight into the innovations that are already changing the way we design and deliver buildings, and what may define the next generation of construction.
