Join Wessex Water on a FREE tour of your local water recycling centre to see where it all goes after you flush your toilet or pull the plug! Have you ever wondered what happens to the wastewater you use to shower, wash dishes and flush your toilets with? Well, you can find out with Wessex Water’s ‘Around the Bend’ tours at your local water recycling centre! The team at Wessex Water provide the unseen service of treating 880 million litres of sewage every day, so this is a unique and rare opportunity to look behind the scenes at how it’s done with a guided tour from one of their expert operators. For accessibility information, please go to frequently asked questions! The Around the Bend tours are suitable for all ages, however pets are not permitted. Our Education team will be on hand to lead our family hour tours again this year. Please note each tour will last 45 - 60 minutes with each tour starting either on the hour or half past the hour.
