Official tours of Arts University Bournemouth's Innovation Studio are hosted on selected Wednesdays, 14.00-15.00. Join us to see how the studio can help you and your business! The Innovation Studio operates as a lab for creative technologies, a space for start-ups and regional enterprises, and a hub for industry engagement, with a focus on collaboration, skills development, entrepreneurship, research, and prototyping. The studio combines flexible workspaces with access to state-of-the-art digital and physical equipment for creative design and manufacturing, as well as expertise and a wealth of knowledge from AUB’s professional and technical staff and academic practitioners. Through this exceptional space we're proud to offer: • Funded 10-week Business Incubator • Studio Residency to support start-ups, micro businesses and sole traders • Associate Programme for local business to test concepts and prototypes • Access to creative technologies and other state-of-the-art resources • Up-skilling sessions and workshops for professionals and businesses • Collaborative research projects and consultancy On a tour you'll have the chance to see our: • Incredible Advanced Manufacturing and Rapid Prototyping technologies • Range of innovative creative technologies, including VR and digital fashion tech • Extensive Materials Library and Testing Machines • Spaces for co-working and meetings • And more... You'll also have the opportunity to meet the AUB Innovation team and ask any questions you may have about joining one of our programmes or the support that we can offer you. GETTING TO THE INNOVATION STUDIO When you arrive on campus, please make your way to the ground floor of the Innovation Studio for your tour, where the team will await your arrival. Check out our campus map for directions. By car Our address is Arts University Bournemouth, Fern Barrow, Wallisdown, Poole, Dorset, BH12 5HH. We have limited parking on-site, so we'll need to book you a car parking space. We must do this in advance, therefore please contact us as soon as possible at [email protected] to request. By bus The university is served by UNIBUS – the U1, U2, U3 and U4 all stop at the campus from various locations within the local area, including Poole, Winton, Charminster, Westbourne, Southbourne, Bournemouth Train Station, Landsdowne. The university is also accessible by Morebus. Bus routes 6, 6a, 15, 17 and 36 all stop outside the campus.
