Coastal Gothic - A Gothic Literature Walk

Led by author Yarrow Townsend, this coastal walk will take in the atmospheric coastline and indulge in all things Gothic literature. Led by author and gothic enthusiast Yarrow Townsend, this coastal walk will take in the atmospheric coastline around Lymington Harbour and Normandy Marsh. Along the way, Yarrow will share excerpt from her favourite gothic literature - from the haunted marshes of The Woman in Black and Great Expectations, to the ghostly galleons of Frankenstein and Dracula. Bring a notebook and pen, camera, or sketchbook if you so wish - and if weather allows - as some of the stops on our route might inspire your own imagination! Or, simply bring yourself (and sensible walking shoes) and fully immerse yourself in the world of the Gothic whilst enjoying a sunset coastal walk. This event is free, although a ticket is required to manage numbers. We will be meeting at the top of the cobblestones at Quay Hill, Lymington. The No Run Club is a walking group aimed at people in their 20s and 30s who would like to connect with the world around them. If this sounds like you, please join us!
