Bournemouth's best new Comedy Night! Welcome back to Don't Blend In. Hosted in the old Daily Echo print room, it promises to be a night you don't want to miss. Archie Brettle will once again be your master of ceremonies, delivering "Incredible Energy" - Anonymous Attendee Another audience member regarded him as "Confident, professional, fun, funny, can tell his heart is in it, made for the stage." But enough about him, "Who is on stage?", I hear you cry. Headlining is Pat Smith From the Army, to the Office and finally the stage and the (small... really, really small) screen.​​​ Pat Smith is an award-winning stand-upaward-winning stand-up comedian and has been referred to as a viral sensation on multiple occasions (that's at least twice). Armed with a sharp wit and a cheeky grin, the Essex-born comedian has made waves since stepping up to the mic. In his first couple of years he racked up wins at top competitions like Frog and Bucket's Beat The Frog, Up The Creek's The Blackout and Leicester Comedy Festival's Laughter Craft Gong before hitting the road to perform UK-wide. ​​Pat's comedy is derived from his experiences of life before, during and after the military. Whether it's parenting, friends and family or world events, his unique perspective, observations and storytelling will have you laughing from the get-go. Opening is James Harris James Harris is a high-energy comedian who thrives on chaos, crowd work, and finding out exactly what makes an audience tick. Armed with the patience of a primary school teacher and the attention span of someone very clearly fuelled by ADHD, James turns everyday disasters into sharp, sarcastic storytelling. Whether he’s diving into the crowd, roasting audience members with alarming accuracy, or reliving the madness of life in the classroom, James keeps the room buzzing from start to finish.
