Small-Scale Commercial Microgreens Experience Day - New Forest

Hands-on harvest & sow day with the owner-grower – for anyone exploring a microgreens business or growing at home. Add a glamping stay. Suited for people running, or with thoughts about starting, a microgreens or controlled-environment agricultural business (outside of our area of the New Forest please!), or with a keen interest in such an operation. This will be a hands on practical experience day with lots of details about set up, growing, and running a microgreens business including administration, marketing, grow room set up, and all aspects of growing - plenty of time for your questions to be answered. Contact us if you’d like to stay the night before in one of Lightfoot’s Farm glamping units in our agroecological field and wake up ready on site for the experience day, and / or the night after to add a chance for a late afternoon debrief / chat session, a hot tub under the stars, or an explore in the forest. Led by owner-operator Peter How, experienced sustainable agriculture researcher, advisor, and practitioner. Peter has degrees in environment and world agriculture, was a researcher at the Organic Research Centre, advisor, and ran projects for smallholder farmers in far flung places before starting the Lightfoot's Farm project.
