Painting Workshop: Help Design our Stage

Join renowned artist Miroslav Lucan for a fun, creative painting workshop and help bring our community panto backdrop to life! Join us at The Henry Brown Centre for a fun and relaxed panto backdrop painting workshop with renowned artist Miroslav Lucan. This is your chance to let your imagination flow onto the canvas and become part of something that will be enjoyed by the wider community. Working alongside Miroslav, you'll help create artwork for our community panto backdrop, which will take centre stage in our upcoming production. 🖌️ Get Creative! Whether you're a complete beginner or already love to paint, everyone is welcome. You don't need to be an experienced artist - just bring your imagination and enthusiasm! Miroslav will guide you through the workshop, sharing ideas, techniques and inspiration as you help transform a blank canvas into something colourful and theatrical. Come along, get your hands covered in paint and help us create a backdrop that will set the scene and transport audiences into the world of the panto. 👨‍👩‍👧 Important Information All children under 16 must be accompanied and supervised by a parent, carer or guardian for the duration of the event. This is a family-friendly Halloween experience designed to encourage children and families to explore, create, investigate and have fun together. Please wear suitable clothing: This is a hands-on, creative event and things may get messy, colourful, gooey or splashed, especially during the pumpkin decorating and potion activities. We recommend wearing clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a little messy.
