Shire Rack Walk and Draw

Working in concertina sketchbooks (pre-prepared) and viewing the landscape in different ways (changing viewpoints, using viewfinders, taking rubbings etc) you will gather information about ancient woodlands (indigenous plants etc) and local history, engaging with the landscape on a deeper level. We will be accompanied by Craig from Cranborne Chase National Landscape who is very knowledgeable about this area and will help bring the history and ecology to life. Approximate time for walking and drawing is 2 hours, we will then move to Sixpenny Handley Village Hall where we will have refreshments and develop our work. This session is suitable for 14 years and above. Sorry, but no dogs on this workshop.
