Talk by author Neil Hanson of "Inn at the Top" fame Neil Hanson’s A Dickens of a Christmas explores how Charles Dicken’s novel A Christmas Carol almost single-handedly revived and reinvented the Christmas traditions and celebrations that we now take for granted. Neil Hanson is a hugely engaging storyteller and the successful author of many books including “Inn at the Top” about his time as landlord of the Tan Hill Inn, the highest pub in the UK. Parking: there is very limited car parking in the centre of Luddenden Village. Please use the Millenium Car Park on Luddenden Lane (HX2 6PE) and walk alongside Luddenden Brook into the centre of the village
