Into the descent

A day retreat in Appletreewick, North Yorkshire As the light shortens and the last of the leaves give themselves back to the ground, we gather to do teh same - to soften, to compost what the year has asked of us, and to plant the quiet seeds of what's next. This is a day for slowing down, not filling up. Movement practice to bring you back into your body. Space to dream, to journal, to play. Time to rest, and time to share - with other women walking the same turn of the year. Post-Samhain, pre-midwinter. A day to descend before we rise again. Bring a mat to sit on, blankets and pillows and what you need to feel comfortable to sit or lay down, and comfortable clothes. You may want to bring a sleeping bag for the restful nidra/meditation. To keep prices low, please bring a small veggie dish for the shared meal. Any journals you're working in or an item for the altar are optional but not necessary. Most of all bring yourself, as you are.
