October Gong Relaxation - Letting Go

So our October Gong Relaxation is based on the idea of letting go. Not in a big dramatic way; nothing needs fixing or working out. It’s more about giving yourself an hour to put some of it down for a while. You’ll get yourself comfy on a mat, pull a blanket over you and settle in while the sounds of the gongs do their magic. There’s nowhere you need to be, nobody needs anything from you and nothing you have to do. Our crystal alongside us this month will be Smoky Quartz... traditionally associated with grounding, letting go and helping us put down some of the weight we’ve been carrying. You may fall asleep. You may drift off somewhere. A thought or an idea may pop into your head... or absolutely nothing may happen at all. And that’s all fine. For this hour, you can simply rest and let everything settle.
