Polymer Jewellery Making Workshop

Join Gill Rice in learning to make your own polymer jewellery. Join @makewithgilly in designing and making beautiful handmade polymer clay jewellery. You’ll design and create up to four pieces of jewellery — choose from earrings, necklaces, bracelets or rings. What You’ll Do • Condition, colour-blend and sculpt polymer clay (with a wide range of colours to choose from) • Explore a variety of techniques including textured rollers, metal leaf application, marbling, silk-screen printing, and acrylic painting • Use a wide selection of findings to achieve the style you’re looking for Your creations will be baked and assembled by me and posted to you within two weeks. You’ll love wearing jewellery you’ve made yourself — it’s such a rewarding experience! No previous experience is necessary. All materials are provided. Please get in touch if you have any additional requirements or allergies. Suitable for ages 14+. Location and access: The session will be held in the upstairs community room at South Square Centre, Thornton Road, BD13 3LD. A chairlift is accessible to the Community Room. Chairs will also be provided for anyone that would prefer to be seated during the session. The centre can be accessed easily via public transport. There is free on street parking around the centre.
