Full description from organizer

Join former Brighton copper turned crime writer Jo Saint for an evening of dark secrets, murder and a signing of her debut novel SUNDER! SUNDER – An Evening with Crime Writer Jo Saint Brighton has a killer. The police have a secret. Join us for an evening of murder, mystery and a few confessions (of the literary kind!) as Jo Saint, former Brighton copper turned crime writer, celebrates the launch of her debut psychological crime thriller, SUNDER. Jo will be interviewed (not under caution, we promise!) by local poet Peter Wood, who'll be delving into the inspiration behind the novel, Jo's experiences in policing and how those experiences helped bring this dark and gripping story to life. Already receiving fantastic praise, SUNDER has earned a glowing endorsement from bestselling crime author and police procedural adviser Graham Bartlett, who describes it as: 'A fabulous, clever debut with stunningly authentic characters battling a gritty yet oh-so-real world you hope you’ll never encounter. Jo Saint is a brilliant author to watch out for, she knows her stuff like few others!' What to expect on the night 7:00 PM – Doors open - Actually the pub will already be open so grab yourselves a drink at the bar! Arrive, settle in and collect your very own paperback copy of SUNDER, which is included in your ticket price. 7:30 PM – An interview with Jo Saint Peter Wood takes the lead as we discover the woman behind the book, the inspiration for its characters and the journey from policing the streets of Brighton to writing about its darker side. Audience Q&A Ever wanted to ask a former police officer what really goes on behind the scenes? Or find out how a crime thriller comes together? Here's your chance! We'll finish the interview with questions from the audience. Book signing After the interview, Jo will be available to personally sign your copy of SUNDER, have a chat and perhaps pose for a photograph or two.
