Christmas Willow weaving workshop - Stars and Lights

Create a beautiful Christmas star from willow and decorate it with a string of lights and seasonal foliage This Christmas Willow Star Workshop at Chequer Mead Theatre is a fantastic seasonal session—perfect for taking home a warm, handmade piece of festive decor. Our workshops are relaxed and friendly, offering a chance to slow down, unwind and get creative. Learn how to create a rigid five-point star framework using pliable willow rods. Intertwine LED fairy lights through the structure and accent the star with fresh winter greenery and ribbon. No previous experience necessary. All tools, materials and step-by-step guidance will be provided. The workshop is for adults. Accompanied children over 14 years are also welcome. Please note that willow contains salicylic acid and may not be suitable for those allergic to aspirin without wearing gloves.
