Cooking for Carers workshops These sessions are for unpaid adult carers living in East Sussex and are designed to be practical, social and good fun. You can expect: • Tasty food - participants will help make delicious and healthy food and sit down to lunch together during the workshop. • A great learning opportunity - a chance to practise a range of cookery skills, gain time-saving tips, and have confidence-building support to help recreate the recipes at home. • Relaxation and connection - a warm and welcoming space to meet other carers, share experiences, and enjoy the therapeutic benefits of cooking together. • Take home goodies - participants will leave with a freshly made dishes, recipes, and the know-how to cook them again with ease. Please note that this workshop is for registered unpaid adult carers from East Sussex. However, we have a small number of discretionary places for parent carers on application. The workshops are 3 hours long and the £5 booking fee includes all ingredients, tuition, recipes and aprons.
