A soundbath is a deeply relaxing, meditative experience where you simply lie down, close your eyes and allow yourself to be immersed in soothing sounds and gentle vibrations. Despite the name, there is no water involved! The word “bath” describes the experience of being bathed in sound waves. Using instruments including singing bowls, gongs, chimes and flutes creates a beautiful tapestry of sound to encourage deep relaxation and stillness. Before Your Session 🌿 Arrive & Make Yourself Comfortable Choose your place in the room and settle onto your yoga mat. Find your most comfortable position. 🧘 What to Bring to Create Your Own Cosy Space and Deeply Relax and Benefit Comfort is a very important part of your experienc Bring a blanket, pillow and eye mask so that you can completely relax and feel supported. Make yourself a comfortable nest so you can relax in a meditative state on the edge of sleep, where healing, creativity, and intuitive insights take place. 👕 Wear Warm Comfortable Clothing Loose, soft clothing is ideal. Choose whatever allows you to lie comfortably without restrictive waistbands or tight fabrics. During Your Sound Bath ✨ Simply Relax The session lasts approximately 60 minutes. Your only invitation is to lie back, close your eyes and rest. There is nothing you need to achieve and nothing you need to 🎶 Allow Yourself to Be Immersed in Sound I will gently play a selection of instruments, including authentic handmade Himalayan singing bowls, gongs, chimes and a 4,000-year-old-wood flute. The sounds rise and fall in waves, creating an ever-changing soundscape that you can simply listen to and experience. 🌙 Everyone Experiences It Differently You may drift into sleep, experience a profound sense of relaxation, or find your thoughts gently wandering. You might experience moments of stillness, or simply enjoy listening to the sounds. There is no right or wrong experience. Whatever happens for you is perfectly okay. After Your Sound Bath 🌅 Gently Return As the session comes to an end, the sounds gradually fade away, leaving you a few peaceful moments before you are invited to slowly open your eyes and sit up. 💧 Take Your Time There is no need to rush. Take a gentle stretch, have some water and allow yourself a little time to reconnect with the room.
