Interactive Listening Quest: an ears-first exploration

A whole new way to experience Brighton! A playful, mindful, absorbing discovery session, using our ears to guide us. 'Wonderful! This has opened up a whole new world for me' Join us for an experience like no other: our inclusive interactive exploration of a bustling part of central Brighton, using fun and creative listening tools together to appreciate our senses and our beautiful shared spaces. We invite you to open your ears to experience our surroundings. This is the final Interactive Listening session of the season. What to expect There'll be a small amount of slow walking indoors and outdoors (under 1mile in total, over the space of one hour) and a lot of standing: we'll be stopping frequently to listen. It will be mild-moderate walking difficulty with very little uneven terrain. If there's heavy rain, the whole workshop will be indoors. Please wear appropriate walking footwear and outer layers, and bring drinking water. Is this for me? The session is funded for adults aged 50+. Under-50s are welcome for a small donation. No experience of music-making or listening walks is necessary, just an openness to take part and try new things. If you have any concerns about listening or walking, please contact us to discuss.
