ivebeeneatingfruit + Dumbhead + Act of Tenderness

Joy. Presents: Gone Fishin' A night of new music discovery. Not tied to space or time but focussing on well curated, thought-provoking line-ups of exciting artists. We’re pleased to present the first band to join us, Dumbhead. Dumbhead are a three-piece from Naarm/Melbourne, known for their genre-bending sound. Dumbhead create bass-heavy music built for late-night movement, drawing from experimental electronica, trip hop and live beat-making. Their shows are immersive and unpredictable. Under the name ‘Act of Tenderness’ (Isaac Ide) will be spinning an eclectic mix of ambient/drone & experimental music to start the day off. Act of Tenderness was established in 2025 as a limited run cassette label and sets to shed light on the fridges of Music and Art. A heavy focus falls on ambient and drone, creating a space for reflection, relaxation & inward healing. This particular performance will facilitate just that. 14+(under 16s to be accompanied) Please note this is a free event. Registering for tickets does not guarantee entry, first come first served.
