Jam Tarts Indie Choir present A Choir of Angels

Tarts bring their annual blend of festive cheer and tears to Christmas with old faves and brand new arrangements. Tarts bring their annual blend of festive cheer and tears to Christmas with old faves and brand new arrangements. Welcome to A Choir of Angels! Join the decidely unangelic Jam Tarts in the candle-lit, magical setting of St. George’s Church for a mix of uplifting music and our customary miserable indieness by artists including Tom Waits, The Sisters of Mercy The Pogues, Fleet Foxes, the most un-indie The Darkness (whaaaat?!) and brand new arrangements of songs by Florence and the Machine and Kate Bush sung by 60 fantastic voices, accompanied by our fab Tart Musos on trumpets, cello, violin and piano. As several weeping audience members have commented year after year, "Christmas only starts when Tarts have sung". Bless 'em. Wine and soft drinks on sale. Please bring a water bottle for water refills to avoid plastic bottles. Raising funds for New Note Orchestra, Brighton's totally amazing music ensemble for people in recovery from addiction.
