Linocut Day with Rachel Cohen (Nov)

Design and cut a lino tile and then make a series of prints onto collaged paper or cards. Learn how to design and cut your own lino tile, then use it to print onto collaged paper and cards. Create a series of unique prints or produce an edition of multiples (all the same). This hands-on technique is easy to do without a press, making it perfect for continuing at home or in your own studio. Suitable for both beginners and artists with some experience. All materials provided. Students are encouraged to bring their own images to work from, such as drawings or photographs, and the tutor will help you convert these into designs for linocut. There will also be images and objects to inspire you in the studio. Please wear old clothes as printing can be messy.
