November Kollab with Dusk and Chalk & Water

Poetry, music, performance and community in one of Shoreham's most famous spaces. Welcome to Kollab - a warm and welcoming evening on an eccentric and cozy houseboat, jam-packed with music, words and a beautiful attentive audience! For the final Kollab of the year we welcome beautiful folky music from Dusk and Chalk & Water. As usual the mic will be open to all forms of creativity and all levels of experience. Please email [email protected] before the event to request a slot. There's no bar, so please bring your own drinks, hot or cold, alcohol or otherwise. Doors open 6.45pm and we'll start promptly at 7pm Looking forward to seeing you, Katrina x DUSK Dusk, an Italian-born guitarist and singer now based in Brighton, shapes intricate fingerpicked melodies into honest reflections of love and the human heart. His guitar and voice entwine to carry stories of longing and belonging, offering moments of quiet truth and connection. CHALK & WATER We are a couple of music nerds who write pop-inspired, harmony-laden, over-engineered alt-folk. We make music about the pain and joy of being alive, and hope that fans of Wallis Bird, Dirty Projectors and Big Thief might like it. KOLLAB FEEDBACK "Wanted to say thank you for a really lovely open mic last night. This morning was the first time I have woken up feeling joyful without and dread dreams in the night for about two weeks. You created a really safe space and welcoming event. Loved your poems and they way you perform them is so engaging and absorbing. Marvellous. Thank you" "Kollab last night was fab, and you hold the space in such a lovely, relaxed, friendly, helpful, kind, and yet still very organised (!) way. Also, amazing poetry! I've never been to anything like that before. I enjoyed it so much I will definitely be aiming to come to more" To hear about future events and receive new poems and videos direct to your inbox, sign up to my mailing list
