Drawing inspiration from The Cinematic Orchestra, Seb Rochford, White Denim and Jono McCleery, his work combines cinematic textures, intimate melodies and dynamic, groove-led arrangements. Fred regularly performs with his trio, alongside multi-instrumentalist and arranger Andrew Stuart-Buttle and double bassist Alfie Weedon. Together, they create an open, highly responsive sound that moves between delicate atmosphere, intricate interplay and powerful rhythmic momentum. The trio’s music reflects Fred’s wide-ranging influences while remaining grounded in a shared instinct for melody, texture and improvisation. IG: @fredhillmusic ALICE BRIGHTMAN Alice Brightman is a folk harpist and songwriter based in Brighton. This morning was the first time I have woken up feeling joyful without and dread dreams in the night for about two weeks. You created a really safe space and welcoming event. Loved your poems and they way you perform them is so engaging and absorbing. Marvellous. Thank you" "Kollab last night was fab, and you hold the space in such a lovely, relaxed, friendly, helpful, kind, and yet still very organised (!) way. Also, amazing poetry! I've never been to anything like that before. I enjoyed it so much I will definitely be aiming to come to more" To hear about future events and receive new poems and videos direct to your inbox, sign up to my mailing list
