Thursday writing group drop-in

Where better to write than a bookshop with a cafe in the company of other writers? With the ongoing success of our monthly 5am Writing Club, we thought we'd set up informal writing groups at a more civilised time. Join us on Thursdays from 10am to sit and write in the company of other writers. These events are free but we ask that you buy a drink (or two) to make sure we can continue to run them. You're free to arrive bang on the starting time, or at any other time afterwards. We're envisaging this as a silent write, but if people do decide they want to share work then that's fine too. It will be what you want it to be. Tickets are free but, if possible, we ask that you book as we only have so many chairs and table space. If you're using a laptop, please have it fully charged for your writing session as we only have two plug sockets. We do have good WiFi and great coffee, loose leaf tea and snacks to keep you going. Note that the café remains open to the public and whilst it is a silent session, there will be ambiant music playing in the background and other customers using our space. Thank you very much for your understanding. NB: We apologise for the inconvenience, but our bookshop is currently not wheelchair accessible. The toilets are located on the ground floor.
