Banshee

Banshee: ONE MORE HALLOWEEN! Halloween ends on October 31st... Not this year. On Friday 13th November, Banshee returns to The Fleece for ONE MORE HALLOWEEN with a very special guest joining us behind the decks. SIMON PRICE The Cure biographer. Goth aficionado. Legendary DJ. Simon is the author of Curepedia, his acclaimed encyclopaedic exploration of The Cure. Delving deep into the music, history, people and mythology surrounding one of the most important bands in alternative culture. And for Banshee, he’s opening the night. Simon takes us back to the foundations: goth, post-punk, new wave, alternative 80s and synth, the music from which the darkness grew. Then Banshee resident de4dpeg4sus takes control. The music gets darker, heavier and more electronic as the night goes on. Darkwave gives way to EBM and industrial as they lead us on our slow descent into the dark. From the music that built the alternative underground to the sounds pushing it forward today. Friday 13th November The Fleece, Bristol 11PM – late | 18+ If you’re planning to join us, please buy your ticket early. Banshee is an independent, grassroots club night. Every advance ticket gives us the confidence to keep taking risks: booking brilliant guests, working with local creatives and building something we hope can become a permanent part of Bristol’s alternative nightlife. Buying early doesn’t just guarantee your place. It helps make nights like this possible. Thank you for backing us. 🖤 BANSHEE A club night for the beautifully haunted.
