Calibre 100 Presents Major General Chip Chapman: Leadership, War Stories & Counter-Terrorism Insight Calibre 100 Presents Major General Chip Chapman: Leadership, War Stories & Counter-Terrorism Insight Join us for one of the most powerful Calibre 100 evenings of the year as we welcome Major General (Retd) Chip Chapman CB to Newark Works, Bath. This is not just another business networking event. This is a rare opportunity to hear from a distinguished British military leader who served for 33 years, fought in the 1982 Falklands War with 2 PARA, commanded 2 PARA, and spent the final decade of his military career involved in counter-terrorism and national security. Chip’s career concluded as Senior British Military Advisor to US Central Command in Tampa, Florida, placing him at the heart of major strategic defence and security thinking. Since leaving the military, Chip has continued to make a major impact as an author, strategic analyst and respected commentator on terrorism, Ukraine, the Middle East and defence issues. He is the author of Notes From A Small Military and also wrote The Chapman Review, a strategic analysis of police discipline in England and Wales which was laid before Parliament. At this exclusive Calibre 100 event, Chip will share insight from a remarkable career built on leadership, courage, pressure, decision-making and service at the highest level. For business owners, directors and leaders, this will be an evening packed with lessons that go far beyond the military. It will challenge the way you think about leadership, resilience, responsibility, risk and making difficult decisions when the stakes are high. As always, Calibre 100 will bring together a room full of high-quality business people, with premium networking, drinks, canapés and professional photography included. This is the kind of evening people will talk about long after it has finished.
