A relaxed evening of Warhammer gaming, painting and building, with full-size tables, gaming mats and terrain provided. Join us for another evening at the Bishop’s Stortford Warhammer Club! Whether you’re looking for a full-size Warhammer 40,000 battle, testing a new army, playing a league game or simply spending the evening painting and building miniatures, you’re very welcome. We now have equipment for up to nine simultaneous 2,000-point games, including: • Full-size gaming tables • Nine gaming mats • Official Warhammer terrain footprints • Nine complete sets of 3D-printed terrain • Objective markers Players only need to bring their army, rules, dice, measuring tape and anything else they normally use during a game. Tickets Gaming ticket – £4 per player Reserves your place on one of our gaming tables and includes use of the supplied mat, terrain footprints, terrain and objective markers. There are 18 gaming places available, providing space for nine standard one-versus-one games. Please arrange an opponent before attending where possible. If you need help finding someone to play, let us know and we’ll do our best to arrange a suitable match. Painting and building ticket – £1.50 per person For anyone who would prefer to spend the evening painting, assembling or working on their miniatures while enjoying the club atmosphere. Please bring your own miniatures, paints, brushes, tools and other hobby supplies. This ticket does not reserve a gaming table. Timings • Doors open: 5:00pm • Gaming and hobby time: 5:00pm–10:00pm • Dice down: 10:00pm Please allow enough time to finish your game, calculate the result and pack everything away before 10:00pm. Who is it for? The club welcomes experienced players, casual gamers, newer players and hobbyists. The evening is primarily arranged around Warhammer 40,000, but other Warhammer systems may be accommodated if organised in advance. Competitive practice, league games and relaxed friendly battles are all welcome. What to bring Gaming attendees should bring: • Their army • Dice and measuring tape • Relevant rules, codexes or app access • Any tokens or accessories they require • A copy of their army list where appropriate Painting and building attendees should bring all the models, paints and hobby equipment they intend to use.
