Food Futuring: A Vision for Healthy, Fair & Resilient Food in Hertfordshire

Celebrate the launch of our community-led vision, and find out how YOU can help make it a reality with the Hertfordshire Food Partnership. Join us at Lannock Farm for an interactive exhibition showcasing Food Futuring - a research project which brought people together across Hertfordshire to imagine a healthy, fair and resilient local food system. Our shared vision is the result a year-long collaboration between residents, food producers, community organisations, food businesses, charities, academics and council officers. We will also be launching the Hertfordshire Food Partnership, which has been established to coordinate joined-up, collective action towards our vision. Our working groups will present the projects they are already collaborating on, with interactive activities for you to help shape what comes next. Please car-share where possible! Public transport: The nearest train stations are Stevenage or Letchworth Garden City. Both are around a 10min taxi ride, and Uber does go to the venue. The 55 bus runs between Stevenage and Letchworth and stops at the foot of Lannock Hill, around a mile from the farm. You can also explore HertsLynx, which runs bus services from Letchworth and other areas around N&E Herts. About the venue Lannock Farm is a working regenerative farm and a rural enterprise hub, with on-site bakery, blendery, butcher, larder, coffee roaster, food markets and other community events. Lannock is also home to Groundswell, the world's largest annual regenerative agriculture festival. We are very excited to partner with Lannock for this event, as they are demonstrating the kind of food system we want to create together - for the benefit of nature, community and local businesses.
