Start of Year Celebration with Mass

Come and join us to celebrate the beginning of the new academic year You are warmly invited to attend the Margaret Beaufort Institute’s Start-of-Year Celebration on Wednesday 21 October 2026. We will begin with Mass at 10.30 am in the Chapel at St Edmund’s College (CB3 0BN), followed by tea, coffee and cake at 11.30 am at our home at the Woolf Institute. We would be delighted to celebrate the start of the new academic year with you and hope you will be able to join us. It is a 6 minute walk from the Chapel to the Woolf Institute. Parking Please note there is no parking at the Woolf Institute. The nearest on-street parking is at Pound Hill, a minutes walk from us. There is a 2 hour limit on parking here. For a longer period, parking is available all day on Mount Pleasant and St Peter’s Street which are both less than 5 minutes’ walk. These locations are pay-and-display or paid via RingGo and cost 80p for 30 minutes, Monday-Saturday 9.00-17.00. There is a larger car park on Castle Street called Castle Hill Car Park, an 8-minute walk from us.
