The Velvet Dolls are still making their comeback, with a live event in Meg's hometown at The Blue Moon, alongside Autumn Wyld. Hull-based The Velvet Dolls are Sarah Shiels (bass, vocals), Meg Selway (guitar, vocals) and Jo Patmore (drums, vocals). Rich female harmonies and gutsy lyrics describing the angst of love, hate, and rage! Cambridgeshire based artist Autumn Wyld blends neo soul, jazz and indie with mellow, smoky vocals, soulful melodies and honest songwriting. Her stripped back sets are warm, intimate and full of feeling, weaving together songs about love, self reflection and healing.
