Fright at the Museum: Tudor Traitors is the Beaney’s annual Family Halloween Trail. While looking over our Tudor wall, we found a stack of faded papers. They reveal the workings of a secret organisation active almost 500 years ago in Tudor Canterbury. The secretive group were alchemists trying to create gold! Help uncloak the shadowy figures behind this year’s mystery! Complete the trail and receive a tasty treat as your reward. This interactive Halloween trail is fun for the whole family. Together you will solve puzzles, pick up clues and discover treasures from the museum collection. Complete the trail, receive a tasty treat and enter a competition for an even bigger prize! Trails cost £6 per copy. Trails can be shared but the participation prize and competition entry is limited to one per trail. Pre-book your trail(s) online to avoid disappointment or purchase on arrival at the museum, subject to availability. Saturday 3 October – Sunday 1 November 2026 Closed Mondays (Except Monday 26th October) Spooky Saturday On Saturday 31 October we’ll be turning down the lights and getting even spookier. Join us in fancy dress for Halloween fun! Age recommendation: Everyone is welcome to take part and the trail is very popular with children aged 5 to 10 years old. Younger children may require some help with reading. Our friendly staff can assist with puzzles.
