Explore the old Admiralty Generating Station on this guided tour in Dover Eastern Dock. Explore the old Admiralty Generating Station on this guided tour in Dover Eastern Dock. The Generating Station was a vital part of the infrastructure of the naval dockyard built by the Admiralty in the Eastern Docks in the 1910s, and was later re-fitted as a maintenance shed for the torpedo nets that hung across the Eastern Entrance to the harbour during WW2.
