A peer-led space to share and explore grief, bereavement and loss Margate Death Cafe is a peer-led space for sharing and exploring grief, bereavement and loss. Whatever your experience of death is, we welcome you. What is a death cafe? A death cafe is an informal gathering of people who come together to talk about their personal experiences related to death. It's a place to share your views, learn from others and find connection and belonging among people with shared experiences. We begin with a group introduction and then split off into smaller discussions. Conversations will be supported by our facilitators, who are there to help ensure everyone can feel comfortable and has space to engage. About our venue The Perfect Place To Grow is a cafe and charity that supports young people in the area to gain skills and find work. They are kindly providing us the venue for the evening.
