St Margaret's Green Hop Beer Festival

Join us at the historic St Margaret’s Church, Rainham for two days celebrating great beer, great food and live music at our first Green Hop Beer Festival. Taking place right in the heart of Rainham, the festival brings together 24 cask ales – mostly Green Hop beers – alongside Kent ciders, Kent wine, fantastic food and live entertainment. EXCLUSIVE LAUNCH OF MAGGIE’S ALE Be among the first to try Maggie’s Ale, our very own beer being launched exclusively at the festival – and only available in Rainham. 24 CASK ALES – MOSTLY GREEN HOP Green Hop beers are brewed using fresh hops straight from the hop harvest rather than dried hops, creating beers that can only really be enjoyed at this time of year. With Kent at the heart of Britain’s hop-growing tradition, we’re bringing together a fantastic selection of cask ales, with the majority being freshly brewed Green Hop beers. You’ll also find: • Kent ciders • Kent wine • Soft drinks and alcohol-free options And on Friday you’ll have the opportunity to meet the brewer and find out more about the beer in your glass. Our Green Hop BBQ will be serving Kent sausages and burgers on Friday and Saturday, with a hog roast on Saturday. Capacity is limited, so advance booking is strongly recommended.
