Womens Running Event

Join us for the Womens Running Event – fun, fitness, and fierce vibes all in one awesome run! This event is being hosted by female police officers from the Kent Police Ashford Community Safety Unit to help women feel safer running together after dark, while building a supportive and empowering community. Our officers will be running alongside participants, creating an opportunity to connect, exercise and promote personal safety in a positive and inclusive environment. The event will take place once a month throughout the winter months and during the darker evenings. Whether you're an experienced runner or just beginning your running journey, everyone is welcome. Join other like-minded women for an enjoyable evening of fitness, friendship and empowerment as we celebrate women's health and wellbeing together. Event Details 📍 Meet at the fountain 🕡 6:15pm arrival 🏃 Light warm-up at 6:30pm 🏃‍♀️ Approximately 5km route to follow shortly afterwards For those who prefer a shorter distance, there will also be a 2.5km route available. What to Bring Hi-visibility clothing or accessories A torch or running light Appropriate running footwear Plenty of enthusiasm! All abilities are welcome, and no one will be left behind.
