A Sapphic book club for lesbian literature, laughs and lasting connections ...... This month's book is Atmosphere by Taylor Jenkins Reid ESCAPE PROUDLY PRESENTS. . . . Cardiff LIT Lesbian Book Club (Limited spaces available) Welcome to Cardiff LIT Club, a sapphic book club to meet and discuss lesbian literature, meet new people, have a few laughs and make lasting connections. There is a very warm welcome to all, and tickets are free. This book club is aimed at those who identify under the Sapphic umbrella (which includes our trans and NB community who sit under the sapphic umbrella). Most people who attend, come solo. Its a space to make friends and have a laugh. Each meeting will discuss a new book over a drink in a relaxed atmosphere. It's a chilled out book club where you can contribute as much or as little as you like to the group discussion. All opinions are valid so don't be shy! Feel free to discuss beforehand in the new what's app group: https://chat.whatsapp.com/CXIOrb6719g48FFo6skqvI?mode=ac_t We will be meeting at the KIN + ILK in PONTCANNA (on Cathedral Road). The venue is happy to host us for free, so long as we support them by buying tea/coffee/cake. Please do buy at the venue as it is VERY hard to find spaces that allow us to meet up for free. So to keep Cardiff LIT Club going for free, please do buy a drink! :) ---- EscapeGurlz events is a fresh and vibrant space for pop-up events for the sapphic community. Based in Cardiff, our events take place each month, bringing women from Wales and the borders - and from anywhere else- together for drinks, dancing and daring times!
