Creative writing group

Fun, friendly group on the first Thursday of every month. Come and exercise your creative muscles. Make a little space for your imagination with this friendly monthly creative writing group, led by author and experienced writing tutor Jo Middleton. Each two-hour session will feature a fresh mix of fun prompts, playful exercises and opportunities to try something different. Whether you’re a regular writer or haven’t written creatively since school, you’ll find plenty of encouragement and ideas to get you going. There’s no homework, no pressure to share your work and no need to commit to a course – come along whenever you fancy it. Every session will be different. Jo is a Somerset-based novelist, blogger and creative writing tutor, published by Avon, HarperCollins. She loves helping people discover how much they can create with a little inspiration and the freedom to experiment. Bring a notebook, a pen and a willingness to have a go.
