Cwtch Hub is a warm community for parents in business in South Wales. We offer real connection and practical tips. This is our village! Welcome to Cwtch Hub! The Village for Parents in BusinessCwtch Hub is a relaxed gathering for parents and carers who are building, growing or dreaming about a business. We meet on the second thursday of every month, at The Cokes in Beddau and a hot or cold drink and snack are included with your ticket. Children present will be offered water or squash, and toast and biscuits. Do get in touch if you or your child have dietary requirements. This is not formal networking. It is a warm, community-first space for people who understand what it is like to build something around school runs, childcare, caring responsibilities, nap times, client work, housework and real life. Children are always welcome. Interruptions are normal. You do not need a polished pitch or a perfect business plan. Actually you don't need a business plan at all! This will be our first in person meeting and I can't wait to meet you. Who it is for: Parents and carers who are freelancers, makers, creatives, consultants, therapists, virtual assistants, coaches, side hustlers, business owners, or simply thinking about self-employment. You are welcome whether your business is already running, still very new, paused, changing shape or even just an idea. Building a business while raising a family can feel isolating. Here, you don’t have to explain why you’re replying to emails at 10pm or thinking about marketing during the school run. We all get it! Because it takes a village... Not just to raise a child but also to be in business. Founded in South Wales, Cwtch Hub takes its name from the Welsh word cwtch - a hug that means warmth, safety and belonging. That’s the feeling we’re creating. Come and be part of the beginning.
