DIY Art Lab: BRiGHTBLACK

Myra Appannah, Artistic Co-Director of BRiGHTBLACK, will support us to explore radical ways immersive technologies can help storytelling. Are you curious about making stuff using immersive technology? Are you interested in theatre, storytelling or videogames? DIY ART LAB continues with BRiGHTBLACK! Myra Appannah, Artistic Co-Director of BRiGHTBLACK, will support us to explore radical ways immersive technologies can help you put people at the heart of your stories. Drawing on experimental artworks, approaches and tools, we will find novel ways of developing ideas through playful tasks, live demos and juicy discussions. BRiGHTBLACK is a POC (People of Colour) / Neurodiverse led company that creates theatre works using immersive, interactive and video game technologies alongside live performers. This is a fantastic opportunity to welcome a world-class artist to Wales, and to try something new in a supportive environment. If you have any access requirements please let us know - we have a budget to cover additional costs and can support you in attending. We can help you with travel, childcare, or meeting your physical needs. Email [email protected].
