Launch of Giving the Darkness Life

Join us for an evening of dark storytelling as we launch our Welsh Gothic anthology Giving the Darkness Life at Porter's Haunted by the unseen and the unsettling, Giving the Darkness Life aims to capture the essence of gothic writing in Wales. Bringing together fourteen writers who are deeply sensitive to Wales’ power as an imaginative resource, it promises to horrify and delight in equal measure. At this event, we'll be treated to readings by contributors Mark Blayney, Lucie McKnight Hardy and Damian Walford Davies, and editor Nick Freeman will muse on what defines the gothic tradition in Wales and how he chose which stories to include in the book. Hosted downstairs in Porter's iconic theatre, this is a night not to be missed; the perfect way to celebrate Calan Gaeaf. Pre-order the book in advance when reserving your space.
