FREE TRAINING ( We require a refundable deposit to hold your space, this will be reimbursed minus Eventbrite's booking fee) Iaith y sesiwn - Saesneg/ This session will be delivered in English by Steven Elliot (RSC) Bilingual info - Welsh below/Cymraeg islaw Performing Shakespeare (Workshop) * *Iaith y sesiwn - Saesneg/ Language of session - English** Following the successful 'Brush Up Your Shakespeare' workshops, which introduced performers to Shakespeare techniques, Steven Elliot now presents 'PERFORMING SHAKESPEARE' - a workshop for actors, performers, and those interested in the work of the master dramatist to hone their skills in Shakespeare performances. The workshop will look in depth at scenes from Shakespeare's plays and deliver techniques that can be used in performing on stage, screen, or in auditions. Those who wish to use the course for auditions are welcome to bring a speech from a Shakespeare play that can be reviewed in the workshop. Trainer Steven Elliot is and actor and Associate Learning Practitioner at the Royal Shakespeare Company. He has performed in Shakespeare plays all over the UK, including at the National Theatre, Theatre Clwyd (where he is an Associate Artist) and the Royal Shakespeare Company, where he worked with former Artistic Director Terry Hands, John Barton and the legendary voice coach and theatre director Cis Berry. Bydd y gweithdy yn edrych yn fanwl ar olygfeydd o ddramâu Shakespeare ac yn cyflwyno technegau y gellir eu defnyddio wrth berfformio ar y llwyfan, ar y sgrin, neu mewn clyweliadau. Mae croeso i'r rhai sydd am ddefnyddio'r cwrs i baratoi ar gyfer clyweliadau ddod â darn lleferydd o un o ddramâu Shakespeare, a fydd yn cael ei adolygu yn ystod y gweithdy. Delegates who cancel within the 2 week period will not be eligible for a refund unless we are able to find someone else to take their place.
