Stitched Bowls Workshop at LarkDesignMake

Create your own tactile hand stitched bowl using cotton cord and thread. In this session we’ll be making coasters, bowls, placemats and decorations using a coiled technique on a sewing machine. We’ll start with the same cotton cord and customise it with colourful thread, fabric and shapes that are unique to use. This technique can be fiddly at the start but quickly becomes great fun and a quick way to produce a finished piece. Basic sewing machine knowledge needed. There is a reduced price for bringing your own sewing machine, please only select this if you're brininging a working sewing machine with you. Workshops are hosted by Lark Design Make, (36 Dogfield Street, Cardiff, CF24 4QZ) and it is recommended that you please read their Terms & Conditions before booking.
