Fell Good Girls Go Dodd Woods

Join us on Saturday 7th November for mushroom hunting in Dodd Wood! Come along with us as we explore the beautiful woodland of Dodd Wood, keeping our eyes peeled for the fascinating world of wild mushrooms and fungi. We’ll wander through the woodland, discovering the different shapes, sizes, colours and textures of mushrooms that can be found along the forest floor and tucked away among the trees. From tiny, hidden fungi to more unusual and eye-catching finds, you never know what we might discover along the way! This is all about the excitement of the hunt, spotting mushrooms in their natural habitat, sharing our finds and appreciating just how amazing the natural world can be. There’ll be plenty of opportunities to stop, take a closer look and grab those post-worthy shots, so keep your cameras ready! We won’t be picking any mushrooms, just admiring them. Photographing them and enjoying the thrill of discovering what’s hiding among the trees. After all, half the fun is never knowing what you might find around the next corner! If you love woodland walks, nature, photography and the excitement of discovering something new. This is the perfect opportunity to slow down. Explore and see the woodland from a whole new perspective. So grab your camera, wrap up warm and join us for a little autumn mushroom hunting, you never know what we might spot!
