Homeschool Art Club

Perfect for ages 4-11 A monthly art club for homeschooled children aged 3-11 , run by Gemma. Gemma is a teaching assistant working in early years, with experience running art clubs for older children and family craft sessions at Tullie. Having spent five years as a stay at home mum when her children were little, she developed a real passion for crafting and creating with children. Join us for a relaxed, friendly and creative session where children can make, explore, socialise and have fun. Each month will bring a different theme or project, with a mixture of guided activities and open-ended process art. Children will have the chance to experiment with different materials and techniques, develop their creative skills and, most importantly, build confidence while enjoying the creative process. Activities may include: • Decorating real pumpkins with paint, stickers and sparkles • Still-life flower painting using watercolours, oil pastels, inks and mixed media • Drawing and painting on acetate • Creating and decorating lanterns using collage and paint • Animal-themed art exploring drawing, cutting, colour mixing and different painting techniques Good to know: Age: Suitable for children aged 3-11 years Cost: £7.50 per child, payable on the day. Booking: Booking is essential as spaces are limited. Where possible, please let us know the age of the child attenting when booking, as this helps Gemma plan activities that are suitable for the group.
