An Evening with Satish Kumar

To be a pilgrim on this earth, not a tourist We can live on this beautiful Planet Earth, either as tourists, or pilgrims. To be a tourist is to be a consumer, and to be a pilgrim is to be a contributor. Going on a pilgrimage is not simply going to sacred sites. To be a pilgrim is a way of life, a way of consciousness. Living lightly and frugally is one way of being a pilgrim. Satish Kumar is a pilgrim, literally as well as metaphorically. He will tell his story at this event which is in aid of Resurgence Trust. Resurgence is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year. This fundraising event is organised to support Resurgence so that it can continue to serve the ecological and spiritual movement for the next 60 years and beyond. Please come and listen to Satish, and support the work that Resurgence does. Satish Kumar Peace-pilgrim, life-long activist, and former monk, Satish Kumar has been inspiring global change for over 50 years.
