Analogue Zine-Making Club #5 - Zine Party!

Let's hand-make zines! Get crafty using collage, colour, creation, and micro-publication with 2 local artists and a plethora of materials. Welcome to Worcester's brand new Analogue Zine Club! Make mixed media zines at this exciting limited-run of workshops with local artists Gabe G Taylor + Freddie Barker. Looking to experience a new craft that’s fresh, engaging and screen-free? This is the place to be! Each session revolves around a different zine format: teaching participants the practical skills while providing materials, information and community to share and craft your bespoke zines with. SESSION FIVE: Zine Party! Our final session will be the ultimate opportunity for collaboration: a ‘pass the parcel’ initiative where each participant adds a page per zine! Depending on the number of attendees, these “add a page then pass on” prompts will include: A collaborative mix tape A storybook An esoteric, folklore-inspired zine A catalogue of favourites An activism-inspired zine A “meet the makers” catalogue A zine influenced by local culture and history … and maybe more …. with all zines completed by the end of the session! Please note that this is an adult-level course and not suitable for very young children. Our team are always happy to assist and accomodate crafters with sensory and mobility differences - zine-making is for EVERYONE! ☀️ PRICING: £18 - Standard Entry £14 - Students & Unwaged entry With a plethora of scrapbooking supplies, mixed media and ephemera to play with, each workshop participant will leave with at least 1 original, hand-made zine!
