Using your inner vision helps to harmonise the left and right hemispheres of your brain and stimulate your creativity and intuition, while the deep gong vibrations cleanse the chakras and energy bodies. The session includes sung and spoken light language. Light language is made up of improvised/channelled vocalisation created in the moment, and is a gentle evocation of blessing, especially when accompanied by gongs, chimes and other instruments with sounds that are beneficial for wellbeing. Meditation themes change every session, meaning that no two Hush Hour gong baths are ever the same. You don’t even have to be a dedicated meditator, because a gong or sound bath with guided visualisation is probably the easiest route to a state of deep relaxation. In fact, nothing is required of you at a Gong Bath Sound Sanctuary session except to turn up, lie down, and chill out. The opening visualisation will ease you into the Alpha and Theta brainwave states that allow your body to soften into a state of pause. No water is involved in the Gong Bath that follows; the pulses of sound and frequency from Planet Gongs and other healing instruments cause the cells of the body to vibrate sympathetically, delivering a massage at a level below conscious awareness - which sometimes manifests as tingling sensations under the skin. The total effect can be to stimulate the body’s own innate self-healing mechanisms and reduce levels of stress. Feel free to bring some crystals if you have them. It is recommended that you wear warm layers including socks, as body temperature drops quickly in a deeply relaxed state. The first 15 minutes of the session is to get in and get settled.
